Product photography

Over the last ten years we have worked with lots of freelance award winning photographers. We recommend on the basis of the shoot, from portraiture to architectural and products. You would be surprised at the difference in results that can be achieved by using photographers who specialize in specific niches. We always ensure that the shoots are planned and directed correctly to make the most of the images taken. Knowing in advance how the images will be used in designs is a big plus!

We have a qualified photographer working in-house who specializes in product photography. So last year we invested over £10,000 on equipment to improve our in-house quality. Having done countless shoots with thousands of products, from toys, jewellery, clothing, and gifts to gadgets of all kinds. We are magicians when it comes to making your products look amazing, couple this with our graphic & 3D artist skills we create images with impact.

Studio:

Based in the centre of Wimborne, Dorset, is our 800sq ft studio on the ground floor of our branding agency RT Media, however we love to shoot products that are less than 1m cubed so our costing structure is aimed at those sizes (Please call if you have large products and we will be happy to quote).

Camera & Files:

We use a Canon 5D Mark II camera and a variety of lenses, giving you excellent 21 Mega Pixel images. We shoot in RAW, TIFF or JPEG formats so you can opt for the best quality depending on your final application. As RGB files your images will be about 60MB depending on content.

We can also supply your images via FTP in any format if required quickly.

Your shots:

We are setup as standard to shoot on a white background to enable swift cutouts. However we can shoot on any colour, just let us know before the shoot.

Product Photography

We always send your first few products as sample shots via email for approval
before the rest are completed.

Images sizes & use:

300dpi at 47cm x 31cm (A3+)
150dpi at 95cm x 63cm (A1+)
72dpi at 198cm x 132cm (BIG)!

Costs:

We include 100% full worldwide copyright on all photography.

Final images supplied on DVD.
(Prices are based on average sized products, in new condition).

Clipping Paths:

We can provide hand produced clipping paths for all of your products. Our prices depend on the
complexity of the object which needs a clipping path. In order to determine the cost of hand
